Work With Us
The Mental Health Association of Mercer County is a mission-driven nonprofit that provides services in Mercer County, PA. Our work focuses on stability, dignity, and long-term independence for people living with mental health challenges.
We are a small but growing team. We work together to problem solve and build real relationships with the people we serve. We are a tight knit team that loves what we do.
Why Work Here
MHAMC offers paid time off to both part-time and full-time employees along with paid holidays and a professional, respectful work environment. Schedules vary by position, but flexibility and sustainability are built into how we operate.
Our staff work across housing, financial management, respite, and relationship building programs. That means no two days are the same and your role will have real impact.
Equal Opportunity Employer
Mental Health Association of Mercer County is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
The Property Manager is responsible for hands-on day-to-day oversight of MHAMC owned and leased properties. This role focuses on routine maintenance, safety, inspections, vendor coordination, and tenant related maintenance concerns.
This is an operational role. It is not a leasing only position and not a passive oversight role. The Property Manager plays a critical role in maintaining safe, compliant, and functional housing for vulnerable populations.
The Relationship Coordinator will plan and lead one organized group activity per month. Activities may include holiday meals, movie nights, game nights, small celebrations, or other low cost community based events that help clients connect with each other in a supportive environment.
The Mental Health Association of Mercer County is seeking a Volunteer Receptionist to provide front desk support at our main office. This role helps ensure clients, visitors, and callers are greeted in a professional and welcoming way while supporting the daily operations of the agency.
This is a flexible volunteer position that can be tailored to the volunteer’s availability. Wednesdays are especially helpful, as this is client check distribution day.
